Seamless Video Integration

Seamless Video Integration
3:22

Seamlessly sync and edit video depositions, preview video testimony, and export clips complete with subtitles to enhance your presentation.

TranscriptPad's syncing capability has the obvious use case of creating video clips of video depositions, and can also be used for the editing and playback of 911 calls, surveillance recordings, EUO statements, or other audio recordings, all while showing the scrolling transcript in the form of closed captions.

Link and Sync

We are proud to say that the sync process in TranscriptPad happens entirely on your device. TranscriptPad sync is confidential, accurate, and fast, shortening the time needed to edit, and resulting in a powerful overall product. Simply open your transcript, link your videos, and press Sync. TranscriptPad does the rest!

Syncing in TranscriptPad is a great way to put the power of editing legal video into your hands, even better, it also offers significant savings. When we account for the average cost to sync and edit a video deposition with a third-party service provider, we are confident that syncing in TranscriptPad will save our customers an average of $300 per deposition!

TranscriptPad syncing works best on an iPad running iPadOS 17 or later, or a Mac running macOS 13 Ventura or later. We recommend using one of the latest iPad Pro or Mac models with Apple Silicon processors. Using older iPad or Mac devices will significantly lengthen the time required to sync, and may not have the necessary capacity to complete a sync.

Edit and Export

Editing video depositions has never been easier than in TranscriptPad. You no longer need to provide the page and line designations to a third-party service provider, wait for the edited videos to be turned around, or make second-round corrections to add or delete designations.

If you have existing Text Designations in TranscriptPad, a simple tap/click can instantly convert them to video clips. Our easy-to-understand clip editor allows you to quickly fine-tune your edits, and any changes are automatically saved.

After editing, you can export a Video Clip as one video file, or as multiple video files, and you can choose whether to include closed captions (subtitles). Even better, while you can play your videos in TranscriptPad, you also have the option to export to TrialPad, or to the Files App or a USB drive where your videos can be used in a slide presentation program, or uploaded to a cloud storage provider.

Use TranscriptPad to make video clips for mediation, to assist with client preparation, to use during hearings, and for testimony playback and impeachment (even in second or third-round depositions).

TranscriptPad syncing and editing give you the power to instantly preview the video, see the demeanor of the witness outside of the written words, and quickly export or play clips at a moment's notice. For accuracy, speed, confidentiality, agility, and price, there's no better option than TranscriptPad.

Ian Richardson, Esq. a lawyer in Raleigh, North Carolina told us, “In a trial last year, we hired a hot seater to the tune of about $50,000 for documents and video clips. We just did all the same things and better using the LIT SUITE, including the ability to edit video on the fly.” Learn more about how Ian uses TranscriptPad: https://www.litsoftware.com/blog/featured_pro_ian_richardson
